When we were kids, it was the easiest thing in the world to imagine what we'd grow up to be. "I'll be an astronaut and walk on Mars." "I'll be a great singer and make beautiful music." "I'll be a baseball star." Then we got older--and most of us put the wonderful gift of imagination aside. We told ourselves that "life is real--and I gotta earn a living." But life is meant to be more than mere survival. It's meant to be an imaginative adventure, walking hand-in-hand with God to become all He has created us to be. Pastor Walt Kallestad re-introduces God's very special gift to each of us--the gift of imagination. It may be too late to be an astronaut, a prima donna, or a sports star. But it's never too late for us to improve our marriage, our career, our health, and our spiritual and emotional well-being. Imagining Your Future shows how we can harness the power of imagination to become all that God has created us to be. Kallestad answers questions such as: Just how does imagination work? Can it be trusted? Why do so many leave their imagination behind when they reach adulthood? Is there such a thing as negative imagination? How can the positive use of imagination help me create a strategy for a better future for myself and the ones I love? Why is the imagination a key to a deeper and more fulfilling relationship with God? Ultimately, imagination is not a tool we use to control our destiny, but a gift we have been given to enable us to respond to God's loving initiative in our lives. Imagining Your Future will help your customers dare to dream again, and find a way to make those dreams come true.
