This CD has a good quality and sound and I am enjoying it. My wife doesn't like the high pitch instrumentals.

While I have had these arrangement on LP for many years now, I really have not played them for many years now due to the snap, crackle and pop of that medium. After seeing Brian Wilson in concert twice in recent weeks in the New York area, and hearing these arrangements being played before each show, I checked here on Amazon.Com and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have been issued together on one CD. Of course, I had to have them and must say that the CD versions are wonderful. You NEED to add these to your Beach Boys collection in order to make it complete.

I have the Beach Boys CD. But there are times that I want to just listen to the music. This is by far the best rendition of their music. The individual instruments are more clearly heard than on competing albums. It is an inspirational CD.

OK, for an old guy I remember the Hollyridge Strings from their 19060's instrumental covers of the Beatles, Beach Boys, Elvis, Four Seasons, Nat King Cole, Christmas Music and other titles of 33 rpm vinyl albums. I made CDs from my vinyl records of the Hollyridge Strings but these professionally produced CDs are much superior. I love the arrangements and most of the songs. If you've ever liked instrumental cover music, give this a try. They do a great job on the Beach Boys music, and this CD is a twofer!

I have always enjoyed all types of instrumental music of the music that came out of the sixties. One of the best instrumental orchestra's sounds that match the music with the words is the Hollyridge Strings. You won't be disappointed with this collection of the Beach Boys Songbook Hits. Another one for your collection would be the Beatles Songbook by the Holyyridge Strings. Unfortually, their is only two CD's made of the Beatles hits by the hollywood Strings. One is a single compulation disc of their hits and the other is a three disc with other hits by the Beatles. Fortually I have all the original albums so I am able to put all of their songs produced by the Hollyridge Strings onto CD's so I would have all of their songs played by the Hollywood Strings. Everytime I am in a mall or doctor's office I always seem to hear the songs done by the Hollyridge Strings. My next Hollyridge String CD will be the hits of Elvis Presley...

[ASIN:B000M4X0OW The Beach Boys Song Book] The Hollyridge Strings orchestra does the best job of creating instrumental versions of the top rercording artists (Beatles, Elvis, Simon and Garfunkel, etc.) I'm a faithful fan of The Beach Boys so I really enjoy this two CD album. The combinded album (BEACH BOYS SONGBOOK-- ONE AND TWO) contains most, if not all, of the Beach Boy songs I so love. They're all there--I Get Around, Surfin'USA, Good Vibrations, California Girls, Wouldn't It Be Nice ---a total of 33 songs in all. Enjoy. Beach Boys Forever!
