The front of the book has a big yellow beach inner tube with a boy in his bathing suit with all of his beach gear standing on a camel. The camel holds a red beach pale and shovel in its' mouth. The illustrations are accurate and blend well with the text. The author/illustrator makes good use of color in this dream like book where a boy daydreams of traveling to the beach. In his imagination, the boy takes a plane, a boat, a truck and a camel to the beach. I related to and enjoyed this book as an adult because I'm always looking for an excuse, money, and time to go to the beach. This is a fun picture book for all ages. Recommended for toddler to 2nd grade.
