York- On The Beach (CD Maxi Single)

With a sound similar to ATB, you can't help but to dance do York's music, especialy this song.The melody in On The Beach captures your mind and takes it to a world of paradise. You can almost picture yourself on a tropical island listening to this song. The UK Radio Edit features a few vocals from York vocalist Yemaya. It's good but something is missing. That something is in the Vocal Radio Mix. The verse vocals give the song a club anthem vibe. The Milk & Sugar Radio Version sounds different from all the other remixes. It has a disco sound to it, which is not pleasing at first. However, this mix will grow on you. The CRW Mix is for the clubs. It's very agressive and is pure trance. The Eivissa @Night Mix is the best mix for the song. It starts out simple but builds up, bringing in the beautiful On The Beach melody, slowly. The Hitch Hicker & Dumondt Club Mix is very trance like. It gives On The Beach a new sound.

On The Beach is an amazing song, no matter if it's a vocal, non vocal, or a remixed version. This CD is a must have. Beautiful melodies, wonderfull lyrics and great remixes. What more could you want in a single? York is a name to watch out for, and club fans like myself have an eye out for this trance legend in the making.

I would say that this tune falls in line with one of the ATB, Alice deejay songs-like "pop trance" if I may. The difference is that this has a more of a house style to it. It's a nice tune to dance to-not too fast, not too slow. As I said before this is like an ATB song because of it's catchy "guitar" loops. Buy this cd, bring it to the beach, lay back and listen to a sweet soundin melody.

When you first play this you hear the sound of the beach which is also goes with the title of 'on the beach' the title that york gave this track.

This song has quite a catchy tune through the use of well made samples, loops and vocals. While listening to the track you could easily imagine a moonlight beach party, a bonfire and the sounds sounds of york cranking on the wheels of steel as you dance the night away . I would recommend a purchase of this cd single as well as the other york cd singles avaliable.

Simply superb and a must for all party maniacs. This house music is one of the best in the market so far. Grab it by all means !

this tune rocks! it's better than going to the beach, i would definetly take this tune on holiday or anywhere where you would get bored!
