A stunning set of old Hawaiian music,

Another impressive set of Hawaiian rarities from the Harlequin label... Especially striking are the trio of First World War-era recordings, which demonstrate that the flashy pyrotechnic style of Hawaiian steel guitar had been established very, very early on. This disc is a bit less varied stylistically, though, than other Harlequin releases, although it's still super-cool. It's hard to find this kind of music anywhere, even in Hawaii (!) so if you like it, or if you're curious, I'd say snap this disc up while you can.

This is the real stuff. Original Hawaiian music. Great for a Luau or just to get in the Aloha mood. If you really want to know the sound of old Waikiki this is the CD you want.
