About the Author
Audrey Schumacher Moe is a watercolor painter, and an author of books about nature. Her books are illustrated with delicate and detailed watercolors. She uses only cake paints of the kind found in children s paint boxes. Audrey holds a BA in English and History from Lawrence University in Wisconsin and a BS in Art and Design from Woodbury University in California. Before her career in writing, she worked as a teacher, librarian, and interior designer. Audrey and her husband live in Desert Hot Springs, California where they joy the serenity and peace of the desert along with Karnak, the cat, and Sheba, their 100 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback dog.
