Modern Art
This book is very much geared towards modern art. While the materials listing is comprehensive (i.e. defining the materials that you might use to embroider), and the how-to diagrams seem to be good (I already knew how to embroider, so I didn't need help there), this book is completely geared to modern-art creations. Which didn't help me at all, seeing how I do medieval...

This book is very much geared towards modern art. While the materials listing is comprehensive (i.e. defining the materials that you might use to embroider), and the how-to diagrams seem to be good (I already knew how to embroider, so I didn't need help there), this book is completely geared to modern-art creations. Which didn't help me at all, seeing how I do medieval bead embroidery. I think there was one picture of a Victorian embroidery and that was it.
Also, it didn't have patterns to follow. It's pretty much nothing more than a modern-art idea book. |
