These wire cutters are NOT intended for use on memory wire. Please use them on copper and aluminum craft wire, precious metal wire and thin beading wire only. Measurements: Pliers are 4.5 inches long. Sturdy box joint construction. Leaf spring. NOTE: These pliers are intended for beading and other fine hobby work. Not recommended for heavy duty applications such as automotive, home improvement, or maritime use.

"Jeweler's" side cutting pliers
I was hoping to find a replacement for the extremely sharp carbide jawed pliers I used in the early 1970's to clip circuit element leads on printed circuit boards. They were $40 in 70's dollars and the thought of a jewelers tool for $5 seemed to good to be true. It was. They weren't good for even cutting toenails.
