I ordered this bead set for my niece. Due to the low price of this item, I wasn't expect that much. It turned out to be an excellent product. Just like the picture, the set contains plenty of (well, I didn't count how many beads the set has) bright-colored beads and strings. The beads are not too small. The average size of the beads are medium pea-size. The beads are not fancy, but they are sturdy.

The set comes with instructions of making over a dozen animal-shaped key chains such as bird, duck, frog, butterfly and fish. It also contains two sets of Alphabetical beads, which is great for names. However, the letters on the beads are small. It is cool for both adult and kids. This set is not for very young kids. I am getting multiple sets!

I can not believe how nice this set is for the price. It comes in a great/reusable storage box that seperates each color bead. The set has enough string and beads to make 14 different beady keychains (both girlish and boyish designs, so fun for all). I have 10 and 11 year old girls. I had hoped to let them figure it out on their own to give me some free time, but the directions were not such that they could do so. After helping them, I decided it was indeed even fun for me to see how excited they were when their critters started to take shape. Overall, this is a GREAT buy & would be wonderful for a birthday party activity.
