excellent review of tips and techniques for training beagles and understanding what motivates and curbs beagle behavior

This book gave a good background on Beagles. Most of the information was basic for any animal, but it is a good reference for beagles. I was pleased that I bought it.

Great little book. Good insight...I actually learned a few things...however, I don't think my beagle to be as stubborn as the author deems. I suppose all dogs are that way. I never knew to feed him raw chicken either. That info enlightened me, and now Menyo is chomping away on a raw drumstick every couple of days, and his teeth are looking much cleaner! (it takes him a good 25 minutes of chewing to get through the small drumstick as opposed to 2 minutes on a dental biscuit...) minus the chemicals of these so-called "dental treats" I found this to be an informative option! Thanks to a good read!
