Having been a former kennel owner of the breed, I have carried with me a fondness for the Beagle throughout the years. They are extremely intelligent animals and have a great sense of loyalty and love for their master. If you are planning on purchasing one as a pet or as a hunting dog and this is your first encounter with the beagle, I encourage you to read this book.
