5.0 out of 5 stars Great for practice
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who just made the local gymnastics team. She'll place the beam in the family room and practice and play on it constantly. She even walks around on the beam as she's watching TV. All of her friends love to come over to the house and try it out. We've even had some friends that request she bring it when we go to their house to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for beginner rec gymnast
My daughter is a level 4 USAG gymnast, uptraining for level 5. I bought this because we didn't have room for the short nonfolding beam and I really liked the idea of being able to store it. Unfortunately we found it's a bit wobbly due to the bracket which enables it to fold. The wobble makes leaps, switch leaps, back walkovers, etc. difficult. I think this is an awesome...

She even walks around on the beam as she's watching TV. All of her friends love to come over to the house and try it out. We've even had some friends that request she bring it when we go to their house to play. It folds up to a fairly compact 4ft. in length and can easily be put away or loaded into the car. It seems very sturdy and has already stood up to numerous kids and even a few adults that tried it out.

Unfortunately we found it's a bit wobbly due to the bracket which enables it to fold. The wobble makes leaps, switch leaps, back walkovers, etc. difficult. I think this is an awesome beam for a little one just starting gymnastics but not for those who want to practice/refine skills for competition.

I am 23 years old and am new to gymnastics, I bought this to practice at home and it is amazing. it feels like a standard beam. it's really durable and can withstand me and my husband jumping and flipping on it. it's a great product! really durable, stores easy, very portable and really fun.
