NO MORE VELCRO = ONE SAFE SENSOR,
This review is from: Bean Pod 2 Pk: Universal Nike+ iPod Sensor Holder - Nike Plus iPod Sensor Cases, Works w/ All Shoes: 1 Red Sensor Shoe Pouch and 1 Blue Sensor Shoe Pouch (Misc.)
I am a trail runner so naturally i get dirt in my running shoes. I've now lost 2 Nike+ sensor thingys because the velcro gets dirty and doesn't work as well. I tried the silicon one too but it didn't fit on my shoes - the lace parts just didn't match up.Cuz the fit wasn't right, it felt odd when i was wearing it. Finally i tried this one. It was the cheapest and easiest to use. Plus, i got two. I know they'll last me a while and i know my sensor is safe!

This review is from: Bean Pod 2 Pk: Universal Nike+ iPod Sensor Holder - Nike Plus iPod Sensor Cases, Works w/ All Shoes: 1 Red Sensor Shoe Pouch and 1 Blue Sensor Shoe Pouch (Misc.)
I started out running with Asics and now I have Adidas, as Nike shoes don't fit quite right around my foot. I've been using the bean pod with the sensor for about a week now, and I absolutely adore it. I was worried that the accuracy of the reading might be affected, but I've measured it against a treadmill several times after calibrating the sensor, and the greatest margin of error was 0.1 mile, which is not bad at all.
I followed another reviewer's advice to place the pod with the sensor as close to the toe as possible, and I think that's the way to do it if you want a very accurate reading. I also love that there are two pods and that the sensor is easy to transfer between the two, since I have two pairs of running shoes. Another great thing is that there's no Velcro and no flap, which means the sensor is totally secure at all times. If you have the sensor but don't want/like Nike+ shoes, I highly recommend the bean pod.

Very very happy that I chose this over the plastic or velcro type...very durable, easy to access the sensor to turn it off. Highly recommend this, this is the end all-be all nike sensor holder !
