5.0 out of 5 stars Cotton shower liner. Don't think twice.
This shower liner is great. I've yet to have any water escape it. It simply becomes saturated and dries very quickly afterwards. I'm using it on its own because I first coupled it with an outside of tub shower curtain and it would stick to the liner and become saturated as well. I got the natural color, it looks great. I'm a month into using mine and there is no dirt or...

3.0 out of 5 stars loved it for awhile
This is what I originally wrote:

"This dries quickly, no mildew. Shrunk a little--like it says--in the dryer but seemed to stretch back out when used again. Nice bright, neutral color. Love having a healthy alternative to plastic."

Now (after several months) I'd like to say that it doesn't dry that quickly and it has some mildew. I think it...

Now (after several months) I'd like to say that it doesn't dry that quickly and it has some mildew. I think it would still work if you just had one person using it but even when there's just two of you it gets too wet to dry quickly. I still love the idea.

4.0 out of 5 stars Shrinkage is no longer a problem it's a "feature", May 17, 2011

Some of the older reviews complain about shrinkage, but the company has now changed things:
The Curtains actually come at 72x84 inches now. So they are way too long when you first get them, but you just run them through a hot wash and dry and they become about 72x72.

I just got them so I can't say anything about the mildew, but I think they look great (very natural) and are a great size.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible shrinkage - item is not usable, August 24, 2009
This review is from: Natural Cotton Shower Curtain
I was really happy with this shower curtain . . . until I washed it. Despite washing it in cold water on the delicate cycle and letting it line dry (no dryer), it shrunk A LOT. The curtain no longer reaches the top of my tub, so I can't use it anymore.

Don't waste your money.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK product but shrinks too much., March 25, 2011

Good thing its 100%cotton. However it is thick. Some might like it but I would prefer thinner and lighter curtains. Thread and color reminded me natural linen pants I had years ago so its matter of taste.
Negative: Shrinks alot. It should be preshrink. I knew that its going to shrink but I had done mistake by cutting it to reach the floor in my bath because it was about 3 inch too long. After about month of using it shrink to the mid of bathtub height. After washing it shrink almost to the top of bathtub or about 10-12 inches. And I did not put it in a dryer, just hanged back on the rod to dry. It is still usable because it still stays inside bathtub but if it would shrink more I will have to throw it away. IF you buy the curtains make sure to soak and dry before using it. You will see what I am talking about. So two stars off for shrinkage and half star for thickness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vinyl Liner Free!!!, March 7, 2011

We have had the curtain for a few weeks now and have been able to remain liner free! I am very excited to keep these toxins out of my home. This curtain is durable, yet dries within a couple of hours. It does not let any water leak out of the tub/shower and keeps bathroom dry.
