The authors of this book have a combined sixty-five years of retail experience. After spending the first half of their careers in various management capacities for major retailers, they have subsequently owned and operated several retail businesses. This year, Doug and Bernadette celebrate fifteen years in business together. This book is their first collaboration in writing; research is currently underway for a second book.

Lots of Info on Beanie Babies,

This 109 page book contained a wealth of information about how Beanie Babies became so popular. I enjoyed learning their history and their origin. I'm writing an article about the Beanies and was able to get a lot of ideas and tips on where to look for more information. Well written and easy to read!

Don't waste your money,

This book claims to have anecdotes of beanie baby collectors - and it didn't have even ONE. It gives a history of how the craze caught on, but that was written at a third grade level, and was boring boring boring. It takes about 30 mins to read the entire book since it's 109 pages of mostly filler and big print. I have never been so duped by a book I bought online. I regret having wasted my money, it would have been better spent on a beanie!
