This bow seemed like a great value as a beginner bow, but the guide is very difficult to rest the arrow on. My 6 year old became so frustrated that he stopped trying. My 9 year old can shoot 1 in 4 good straight shots, because of the weak arrow rest. The rest broke on our 3rd outing. I will try to build something better, but I can't recommend this bow to anyone, unless you don't mind fixing a new site.
