Come on into the big blue house and learn all about shapes, sounds, and colors with Bear and his friends. This crystal-clear DVD features three separate episodes and four sing-along numbers. In "A Wagon of a Different Color," Ojo plans to surprise Bear by giving his red wagon a new coat of paint--and not just solid red, either. With a little help from Bear, Pip, and Pop, Ojo learns how to combine colors to create a real masterpiece. "Shape of a Bear" takes a look at the many shapes around us and celebrates everyone's unique form. "Listen Up" finds Bear and his friends camping out at the otter pond and listening to, imitating, and identifying the sounds around them. Sing-along tracks with karaoke-style captions include "Some of the Colors I See," "Me, I'm the Shape of a Bear," "Listen Up," and "What's in the Mail Today?" Since most kids can't get enough of Bear's jazzy songs, these sing-along tracks are sure to have kids dancing and singing along to their favorite Bear songs. (Ages 2 to 7) --Tami Horiuchi

"Luna, the Bear.... wow" that's what my 19 month old son - Hussaynee - says so many times a day.
An excellent DVD full of colours and surprises - you should see the expressions on Hussaynee's face when watching this DVD - so cute!
My husband and I have learned all the scenes and the songs too!
The funniest part is when driving at night and spotting Luna through the sunroof - we all end up singing the "goodbye" song - with Luna too ofcourse!!!
A fantastic buy!

We love Bear, and so does our 2-year old. Excellent songs, great dancing (Bear is the best dancer in the world - especially that head-wiggle), and 3 long episodes on the DVD. This is kids' entertainment at its best (adults, too!) Great value.

We have had this since my daughter was 4 months old. She loved it then and still loves it now at 16 months. It is also one of the few videos that I don't mind watching over and over.

My daughter enjoys watching Bear, however, she has not been able to watch it on the crystal clear, beautiful sounding DVD medium until now! Even though she is only two, like her father she enjoys quality. I have seen and enjoyed these videos with my daughter and I must say I think they are very fun and informative. When the intro song begins my daughter gives Bear her undivided attention and listens to what he has to say. I recommend this DVD to all parents. I definitely will now and in the future as I am sure my daughter will also. And just think. In about 20 or so years the DVD will not be like the videotape (worn out that is)! It will still be in the same shape as it was the day I bought it for her.

It is amazing. I have never seen my daughter enjoy a video as much as she enjoys the Bear in the Big Blue House. She is five months old and she started babbling at the television about 20 minutes into the first video and this DVD surely has her attention like none other. She has seen Blues Clues, Barney, Dora, Little Bill, etc. but nothing seems to capture her attention like the bear. Amazon suggested this video along with another video I wanted and decided to give it a chance. It was also a very good buy with three episodes on one DVD.

Normally you wouldn't be able to find many kid shows that are fun for the kids and when they sing, actually sound pretty good! This DVD is great! Gage my son LOVES "What's in the mail" and absolutely loves the song "shape of a bear". He laughs when Bear gets right up to the camera and sings to him. And he loves when I pick him up and we dance to Bear's songs. Bear is so fun and we love the rest of the cast too!

I had to order this dvd into Britain as there is only one to be bought over here. My daughter doesn't normally sit through a whole bear VIDEO!!, never mind a dvd, but this one held her concentration, and had her dancing to the four sing-a-longs (you only get 2 on the dvd over here). A fabulous dvd, well worth buying.
