This is a wonderful story for any youngster from ages 3-8. The illustrations are magnificent and story lines rhyme and blend very well. This story is a good way to help your child overcome basic fears.

I love all the Bear books from Karma. The rhythm and rhyming is excellent, making them such a joy to read. My older kids like to read along or at least read the title line in each verse, and the little ones like the beautiful illustrations. The story is great. For my kids it makes them feel good to know that even their trusted friend Bear gets scared, so they are not alone. I highly recommend this, and all of Mrs. Wilson's books.

My husband and I fell in love with the adorable illustrations and the sweet characters portrayed in "Bear Feels Scared". We thought it might help soothe our preschooler who is too afraid to fall asleep on his own. However, the story offers no resolution for Bear's fears. He does ultimately feel safe, but only because his friends are also worried and come to find him. This does not lend itself to soothing our son's bedtime fears or give him tools to feel less scared. The story remains cute and loveable, but it has not become a favorite as we thought it might.

Bear Feels Scared is another great addition to the Bear series. This entire series is a family favorite at bed time. I can't wait to see what happens with Bear and his friends next.

I bought this book for my 4 year old grandson who sometimes has 'scared' moments that upset him. He loves this book because it both acknowledges a fear and shows how it is conquered by caring friends.

My grand-daughter and I enjoy the whole Wilson/Chapman "Bear" books and look forward to adding more to our collection....out of all the children's books we have.... these are our favorites! "Bear feels scared", is their newest, added to our collection....We Love It!!!!! The story is adorable but we especially love the illustrations...what a wonderful artist Jane Chapman is!!!!

I was hooked on Wilson and Chapman after "Bear Snores On" and this book does not disappoint. I also have "Bears New Friend" and "Bear Feels Sick" and recommend all. I love Chapman's illustrations!

This one may be a little more forced than Bear Snores on... but still a VERY cute story. We'll certainly buy more of the "Bear" books. My 3 year old wants to read it all the time.

I love this book series, I used one for a "teaching reading to primary grades" class. My grandsons also love the series.

I just read this to my 8 month old and loved it! It's very sweet and the illustrations are so cute. We have the board book, so he can grab at it as much as he wants without hurting it. I'm interested in the other books in the series, but hope more come in board books.
