overlooked and underrated!, July 12, 2010
How sad it must have been for Mr Edwards to die in such poverty and obscurity. He left us some of the most seminal music of his era. he should be as well known as Bing Crosby and Louie Armstrong. This is by far the best collection of Ukulele Ike there isn't a stinko in the bunch. Each song also captures the versatility and virtuosity of this artist. the linear notes are very thorough and informative and a very beautiful cover illustration by R.Crumb. He may Best be remembered for being the singing Cricket Any officiado will direct you here. This is the real Ukulele Ike!

Gotta love it, April 10, 2009

Sound quality was excellent, especially for recordings of this age, and packaging was interesting. Highly recommended. Song selection was also completely satisfactory
