I thought that I would make a short little video review of this really nice case. My Bear Motion case is in black, however, since everything else is the same, I thought that I would post the review for that case here as well. Thank you!

The case overall is pretty good and I will be sticking with this one for now. Quick thoughts:

Pros:
1. Design - It is slim in design, probably marginally thicker than the smartcover. The slight bulk is actually a good thing because it keeps the iPad nicely protected compared to the smart cover.
2. Smart featuer - It triggers sleep function on the iPad perfectly. Simply flip the flap closed and it does the rest. 3. Cutouts for all buttons and cameras are spot on (to be expected).
4. The brown color is a good shade brown.

Cons:
1. Material - NOT leather, but this is perhaps the best imitation leather I have seen. It even smells like leather - job well done! But given that it's not leather, the price is way too high for a leather derivative product.
2. Stand - The stand design seems to be fairly common with iPad cases, but I personally am not a fan. It has only one stand position and that too is wobbly at best. Would expect a more sturdy stand.

All in all, given the limited options in brown, I think this one is a keeper. Despite the minor flaws, I like it and would recommend! If black is your color, I would probably have preferred a different design just because there are SO many more options in black.

Wanted something more substantial than the Apple cover for the iPad2. Based on the other reviews I selected the brown case. The look and feel is great. More like a book or a leather notepad than an iPad. It is easier to hold with this case and may offer a little bump or drop protection - hope not to be testing that. The sleep mode works fine with the embedded magnets - some reviews indicated that it didn't work well. Highly recommend!

I am a 60 year old guy who purchased my iPad 2 for use at work for email, contacts, calendar etc. I wanted a professional and functional case that also protected the iPad. The Bear Motion Genuine Leather Case for iPad 2 is perfect. The openings work for the iPad 2 - the case fits well, is sturdy, and the leather is really high quality. The sleep mode works just fine. An excellent case at at a fair price on Amazon.

Very happy with my leather case. I received the case within a few days and it looks better than the pictures uploaded.

The leather feels nice, really nice, unlike the "cheap" leather stuff you can buy overseas.

I like the full protection front and back, and the 3-in-1 stand for different options depending if your reading, emailing or watching movies online.

I was really excited to purchase my iPad 2 but dreaded getting a case for it. The Apple Smart cover was too flimsy and difficult to fold up for use as a stand (it would shift, uncurl and flip out while I was trying to set the iPad down). Enter the Bear Motion leather case. I was really drawn to the fact that it had the same sleep mode feature as the Smart cover but it covered the whole iPad and provided more protection for accidental drops. Also, the Bear Motion version has two slim pockets inside the front cover which could be used for business cards, but we keep a screen cleaning pad in ours and the magnets are still powerful enough to keep the cover closed. Also, when folded to form a stand in either typing (low angle) or viewing (high angle) mode, the iPad feels secure and does not wobble --another of my issues with the Smart cover. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to everyone.

This iPad2 case arrived so quickly that I was amazed. It was impeccably wrapped. Very soon thereafter, I received a follow up email from Bear Motion wanting to be sure that I was a happy, satisfied customer. Here is my response to their inquiry:

...and now, about one and a half months later, I am still very pleased with this case. I was prepared to sew my own fabric bag for the case since the blue one was only offered with the black case, but that turned out not to be necessary. When I take the iPad out of the house, I slip it with it's leather cover into the soft, black bag. This helps not only prevent the leather from being marred, it also keeps dust and debris out that might otherwise work its way under the edges of the leather (between the tablet and the cover). The magnetic closures that put the tablet to sleep work flawlessly. Read for yourself about how much the company cares and strives for customer satisfaction in the reviews for both the black and brown cases. I highly recommend this item. Even my 13 year old son commented on how attractive this cover looks - nice color, slim design, professional and subtle (doesn't scream iPad).

This case is a very nice, durable case for the ipad2. It is very form-fitting and slim. all of the holes and grooves line up very well with the buttons that you have to access. the hole in the back for the camera lens in the back lines up just right. It is made from real leather, (not synthetic or fake leather) and feels very durable. There are magnets on the opening flap that keep the case shut and also prompts the ipad to shut the screen off (when you close it) and turn it back on (when you open it)... very convenient alternative to having to push the button on the top all the time.
There is a thick leather flap that the cover will wrap around and slide into to prop up the ipad. Im not too sure how long this will hold up under extensive use because you will constantly be pulling it away from the body of the case, but it seems thick enough to hold together for a very long time.
All in all, it is a very durable and convenient case for the ipad... and very cost effective compared to other models made of the same material with the same function.

This case looks and fits beautifully. I originally had the Apple cover, but after slipping my IPad 2 in the bear motion case, I realized that it had been left vulnerable from day 1. There is absolutely no interference with accessing buttons or my camera lens. The case fully protects the front and the back of the IPad, it has the magnetic cover that puts your IPad to sleep, and also has a Velcro strap that keeps your IPad cozy in the case. You can't beat the price, this is a definite must buy accessory for IPad owners.

there's no better cover case for the iPad 2 than this one. snugy, slim, stylish and cute. no cwords to describe how satisfied I am with this product. worth every cent paid.
