this is good for kids 9-14. It aims as good as a bow that costs 400 dollars.These arrows are very durable. You should by this bow for your child

In spite of the one negative review, I went ahead and purchased this. Good deal! Very nice bow--sturdy.

THIS BOW SUCKS IT WENT LIKE 10 FEET THE FIRST TIME I SHOT IT I WAS EXPECTING MORE !!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great toy. It isn't strong enough for hunting but is good for learning to shoot bows. Although the bow is great the quiver is pretty useless and it doesn't have enough arrows.

The picture for this product shows a nice compound bow. If you read the fine print is a simple bow that's only about 28" long. I could have bought the same thing at target for <$25. Complete rip-off.

We have had this bow for a year now. My son received it when he was five and a half to learn bow safety and use at Indian Guides campouts. It was difficult for him to draw, but possible. Since we were practicing proper form and safety, the target was no more than 15 feet away anyway. At this range it easily penetrated cardboard, and a foam archery target we bought. It also worked well this summer from about the same range at a local Department of Natural Resources range. This range had a walking trail with the molded, full-sized realistic animal targets on the sides. The arrows had no trouble penetrating the targets, except on glancing shots.

Now at six, the bow is almost too easy to draw. I wish we had spent a little more and bought an adjustable draw bow, but this bow delivers what it promises and is a good value. It is well made and shoots consistently.

We bought this for our 10 year old for his birthday. He had been shooting homemade bows... cheapy nerf suction cup bows, and we thought it time for a graduation to a "real bow". This delivered in every area. Not only does it look wonderful and grown up to him, it shoots very well too. We bought the extra arrows that are recommeneded at checkout, and he has been shooting it every day since we got it. He LOVES it.. and it is a great buy. Highly Recommended.

I got this set for my kids (9 & 7) who had shot arrows at Cub Scout camp. This set is a complete waste of money. An arrow shot from this bow has a maximum range of no more than 15 feet. At that distance the arrow will sometimes penatrate a cardboard target. An "arrow holder" attached to the bow lasted for about 3 or 4 arrows before it fell off. I wanted to give my kids an archery set that they could practice with and instead got junk. I would have done better finding an old stick and a shoe string. Don't waste your time and money with this set.
