Not what was expected from a USA made knife..,

I don't think this is a good example of a USA made knife.. FIT- the spring was recessed between the liners with the blade closed and in the open position. The pin had burrs. After some work, I got it to be an OK carry knife with the exception of the feel of the recessed spring..
I bought a Bear & Son full size stockman with rosewood scales, the fit was poor on it as well with the spring of the main blade elevated above the liners.. Bear & Son is well known for HIGH quality cutlery but I think this low end rosewood series is not up to that quality level. I have seen better fit and finish cutlery made by Chinese cutlers.. |
