the hood on this jacket is not a complete hood. It is more of an extended collar with no drawstring or fastening device for full closure of the hood. Otherwise the jacket is an excellent cold weather jacket/parka.

I am disappointed in the hood.

at this price ($50), it is a very nice jacket for winter. worth every penny.

This is a really nice 3-in-1 parka but- the prior reviewer is right- it has NO hood, despite the description. The collar comes up past the ears, and the rabbit fur makes it nice and warm, but you'll need a separate hat for those really cold days. On the other hand, if you think hoods are dorky- to quote my 17year old, or think they get in the way 90% of the time, then this is a great parka since the collar still comes up pretty far. Well made, seems to run true to size. The outer shell has feather fill- the inner vest is poly. Lots of pockets and compartments. I almost gave it a 5*, but feel alittle misled about the hood. I paid $50 for the ARMY color, incl shipping and consider it a great deal. [That other online company- starts w/ an "O" - has this same parka for over $85]

I didnt expect to look so good and to keep so warm...If you need some warm clothes , that is all what you need!

I would love to be able to tell you that this was a great product. At this point i would love to tell you anything about the product. But, after ordering the item on the 14 of december, the product did not show up. I originally paid for 2 day shipping, on a (ships in 24 product) allowing it plenty of time to arrive. 5 days later i recieved an e-mail saying it won't make it here on time. I changed the shipping to 1 day, and even now, i am told it won't ship out until the 23rd. Bottom line, if it's a gift, get it from a "brick and motor" store, or allow 6 months for delivery.
