I bought this book for my husband, who has been growing a rather impressive beard. It was a fun gift, everybody had to flip through and look at the pictures, which are very well done and interesting. I loved the handful of essays scattered throughout the book, written by various contestants of the 2009 National Beard and Mustache Championship. Who knew there were so many beard styles and even names for the styles!! I guess I was expecting a slightly larger book, sizewise, but the small size didn't take away from our enjoyment of the book.
