This baby keeps my face toasty-warm and looks real. I use it for making my 67 mile (one-way) commute to work on my motorcycle during the Sonoran desert's cold winter morning's . Co-workers I pass on the way to work, later in the day say things like, "Who was that old timer with the long grey beard that was driving your Harley this morning?" TIP: Stuff the bottom end inside your jacket, this will keep the thing from blowing backwards up into your face.

I ordered this product. It did come on time, it looked and felt like it came from a dollar store. I don't know why I paid so much for it! the beard was thin, and short and does nothing for the cold. bottom line, I was fooled by the picture. the quality is very poor. I am going to get my money back.

It's funny, but not worth the money. Expected more from it, it's thin and it looks kind of cheap. But we did have a good laugh!

Bought this has a gift for my brother in law who is a huge snowboarder. Product looks awesome in the image but looks a little sub par in person. The fabric used for the beard is cheap and nappy looking. I wish it was a little better quality. Probably my only limitation from giving this a five star. I think the concept is funny, but feel for the price you should get something a little less flimsy. It will get good wear and I didn't return but if my brother in law weren't under 20, it probably would have gone back.

Up front - I did not purchase this for skiing, I purchased it to complete a running costume. The Santa beard was sold out, so I went with this one, for more of a grizzled santa look.

During use it can help to breathe in the mouth and out the nose, to avoid moisture buildup in the mouth area - this can also help to avoid breathing in the beard fibers into your nose. I also had to snip the nose hole a bit bigger for my large nose to properly fit the mask. Something to keep in mind, is that it completely covers your nose - it's hard to see in the pictures, and probably doesn't matter with a pair of ski goggles, but with a pair of sunglasses it looks "less real".

It will definitely keep your face warm in cold weather, and if you're running in it, will make your face sweat.

Results from spectators were mostly positive - yielding "yeti", "chewbacca", "santa", "i'm terrified of that", and plenty of laughing.

Christmas gift for my son. We both love it but there hasn't been any real snow to justify wearing it in Philly. Hopefully next year.

So, the beard is definately not as thick as the picture but no problem. It is adequately thick enough to generate the desired attention. I wear glasses and have not yet figured out how to keep them from fogging up while wearing the Beardski at a stopsign or red light. With my half-helmet, fogging during movement is not an issue but putting it on during startup or at red lights does present some problems.

Despite that minor inconvenience, I love this creative invention and it WILL turn heads on the road which I love. It would be great if they were a bit less expensive but a) I bought it and b) I'd buy another one so there is capitalism at its finest.

First impression: totally cool. Upon trying on it smells really strongly of foam/poly/some kind of petroleum based product. hopefully that goes away. I have a normal sized head 7 1/4 and if you wear it high enough to cover your ears fully it slides down the back of your neck. If you wear it lower on the neck your ears are exposed. The only way to get it to stay in place and cover the ears at the same time is to make it pretty tight at which point the two halves of the velcro no longer meet up. Maybe I have a tiny neck, but I will have to modify it to make it work properly. Does look cool though.

I absolutely love this for skiing. It keeps my face and neck warm, and fits well and stays on after you put a beanie and/or goggles on. It wraps around your head/neck with a velcro attachment, so by itself it kinda slides out of place but if you have a hat or goggles it will stay in place for hours.

I also can't tell you how many looks/compliments I've gotten with this. Almost everyone I pass turns their head to look, people point and look from across the lift lines, and I've even gotten compliments yelled at me from the lifts as I ski under them.

Love it. Get one.

When it arrived it didn't look fluffy like the picture. It is kind of matted together and even after combing it out, it still looks kind of wiry. It definitely is very warm and is great for the under 20 degree days. The biggest negative is that the velcro fastener on the back of the bare neck is really irritating as you turn you head. I will have to wear a neck gaitor to preventh the redness. I don't regret buying it because of its warmth and people on the slopes have complimented me on the nice growth. They just need to make the fastener more comfortable.
