Don Coldsmith's writing and stories take you with the Elk-dog band of the people on what seems like real life day to day living in the 1400 - 1500's. To my knowledge his facts are accurate historically, which is why I began reading the series. His characters are very realistic and 3 dimentional. I recommend this series to anyone of any age.
