I have only a few tiny complaints about these boots but first of all I'd like to say that yes, I did feel ashamed buying something made with real fur, but even my animal-friendly friends encouraged me to take advantage of this great deal because they know it's for practicality not fashion. These boots can withstand the cold Chicago winters and they're even fun to wear when it's not too cold. They do look a bit odd under pants, because they're bulky, but half the people who've commented on them have told me they're ugly. I don't really care, they're extremely warm and comfy. I wear a size 7 1/2 so I ordered a size 8. They were way too tight when I first tried them on but I kept them on almost all day for two days and now they're very comfortable. The fur tends to shed, but it's only noticeable around dark fabric so I just use a lint roller after I've kicked up my heels on the couch, but it's not like it looks like I've got a cat living in the house or anything. My calves are about 14in around and they fit just fine in the boots, but they do tend to scrunch up a tiny bit at the bottom. Getting pants into them is possible, but this equals more scrunching, it is however entirely comfortable. I'm just a bit neurotic and like everything to be straight and perfect, lol. They're tight due to the lining so order a size up if you wear a half size or you want to wear thick socks with them, but you really don't need socks, it would seem almost silly to wear them with these. The inner lining is so comfy I feel like I'm walking on clouds but it does also tend to come out a little when you pull your feet out. I doubt that it's much different than any other shearling boots though. I bought these boots at $65 dollars and I was a little sad to see the price drop more after I'd bought them, but honestly I would have paid much more for these. I love them so much, whenever I put them on I keep them on all day and refuse to take them off, even wear them to bed sometimes ^^. I don't know how anyone couldn't love these.

These boots look great at first glance, however as you wear them a lot of problems arise. The fur sheds constantly on everything and the boots are very narrow where the fur joins the leather. Difficult to put on and take off. Would not recommend these.

CHEAP!DO NOT BUY! Strings in front broke apart when I tried them on for the FIRST time. After only 10 wears, the Backseam ripped down the whole back of the right boot, I had to trash them after only having them for 1 MONTH! This is the WORST product I have EVER purchased! Due to the one month return limit, I could not return them. Hows that for Planned obsolescence!!!

Incredibly difficult to get these boots on! The point where the fur meets to shoe is just to tight. Shoe size was correct if you could get the boot on. If you have any arch at all forget this one! I sent mine back.

These are a very high quality boot that has yet to fail me when the cold comes in. Extremely comfortable, warm, & soft!

I bought these and live in Texas! The only downside to these boots is that I cannot wear them more often here. I absolutely love them. They do shed a small amount but not enough to change how I feel about them and due to our weather, I don't wear them all the time. It feels like there is a mattress inside these boots that cushions every part of my foot. I absolutely love them and get tons of compliments every time I wear them. I also love Amazon.com. Everything I have purchased has been perfect.

My mom bought these for me for Christmas, I was at her house when she received them. So i decided to try them on just to make sure they fit. They made my feet instantly warm, they don't have rabbit fur on the inside but the lining is very soft and warm. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 so i ordered 7 and the fit perfectly (without socks) These boots are very cute and seem well made. I haven't really used them yet but i am going to spray them with leather waterproofing stuff before i do.

The boot is really comfortable and warm but when i walked into the snow - just a little it left a horrible water mark-so i used them once and pre treaded them but still left the quite noticeable water mark

They are very very comfortable. I love them. I would like to have another pair even though I already have several other Bearpaw boots. This one is the most comfortable though.

These boots are beautiful buttttttt they run small. Unfortunately I was unable to exchange for a bigger size. They weren't available. So I kept them. Snug to start but a little more comfortable the more I wear them. Overall, they are a beautiful boot. I have received many a compliment on them.
