It is recommended to treat shoes with a water-proofing spray for suede products before wearing outdoors. BearPaw makes a decent shoe but the Clausette has customer service issues. The shoes had glue from the box on the tips of the toe, I asked for an exchange via email and got no response. I originally called but I got a recording saying they were swamped and were only taking emails. So I sent another email and still no response. I bought these shoes the first week of December. Cute shoes but buy them from Famous Footwear.
