Great idea, nicely thought out in three inflatable sections, seem to be durable, but by the time you are done with the second section you have no energy left for the third one.

This is a 2 days project to inflate, forget deflating it and taking it with you on a trip. Once was enough...

Really too bad...

This is definately not an easy item to inflate as they profess. But anyway the kids love it.

I bought this for my 3 year old for when we travel.She loves it. The foot pump that comes with it takes awhile to fill it. The only complaint I have is that is loses air when she sleeps on it. Not alot thou.

This item was cute and pretty easy to set up (you do need an electric pump-the pump they give you would take 2 days to inflate the bed).

Within 2 hours, there was a hole in a seam. All my six year old did was sit on it to watch tv.

This item is poorly made if it can not withstand a six year old sitting on it.

I bought two of these and both of my daughters (2 & 4) love them. My four year old inflated her own (took her a little while, but she did it herself).

My mother-in-law wishes I had bought a few extra for the kids to use at her house.

Makes an excellent additional bed for younger guests at sleepovers, and we use them for camping. Bigger than I had originally thought. Maybe good for up to 6-8yrs old.

My two year old loves sleeping in her Care Bear bed. It was easy to blow up - my husband blew it up himself very easily. The product seems to be holding up very well so far.

This was given to my 3 year old daughter as a Christmas present. She loved it! The set up was easy... tedious... but easy. However, it can not hold up to the type of torture a toddler can put it through. The bed has a slow leak somewhere. I can't find where it is. Such a shame too, this could have been so useful for us. I liked how the outer bedding layer is washable and it is easy to reassemble it afterwards. I just can't give this product a good rating when it goes flat within an hour of my small kiddo laying on it.

I'm having a hard time deciding on the actual stars to give this product. I bought it for $20 at Big Lots (it is currently listed on Amazon for a lot more than that; I'd never pay $70+ for it). I will be returning it shortly because it has a leak and I can't immediately locate it. But in general I thought it was a great idea. Here are some details:

1. pump: some reviews say the pump takes too long and is basically unusable. It's way low-tech, but I found it sufficient for the size of the mattress and didn't think it took too long. It's easy to use so your toddler can help. It's light and portable.

2. mattress: this is not much more comfortable than the inflatable mattresses for use in water (you know, the floaty kind). It's a bit thicker but still sort of too bouncy to feel like a real bed. How comfortable your toddler would be sleeping on it, of course, depends on the child. I think my kid would have to be good and tired to really enjoy sleeping on this bed. At the same time I think for travel it would work just fine, and it's a nice plus if the kid can have the same travel bed wherever we go because lets face it, toddlers aren't often comfortable in anything that's completely new.

3. cover: the bed is made of an inflatable mattress and a sleeping-bag like cover that has a pocket for the mattress and then a zippered section to use as the sheet/blanket. I find this to be the coolest part of the product and I love the fact that you can take the cloth part off and wash it.

4. travel bag: it's nice to have.

5. patch kit: included is a small patch kit for leaks. Didn't do me any good since the slow leak in my product was hard to detect. Sure I could have put the mattress under water and located it, but I figure that's too much work for a brand new product and prefer to return it. But if I'd already had it for a while and it sprang a leak I'd totally have used the patch kit and would have been grateful to have one.

I was debating whether I should give this 2 or 3 stars. I think it's a great product but I'm disappointed mine wasn't made well. I don't like to judge a product by one possible lemon, but if more reviews suggest that the product comes with leaks you should assume it's design is defective. For now I'm going with 3 stars because I like it and would have used it.
