4.0 out of 5 stars If you can only buy a jgoth CD make it this one, March 20, 2007
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
First of, be aware that this is a single CD. There are not 21 tracks!!! I was so upset thinking the CD was defective...until i read other reviews!!! the music is original, fresh, and dreamy. You have to experience it to understand.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
If you have any brain at all, you will buy this album! Mana is an amazing composer, and i think Klaha's voice is really good, maybe even better than Gackt's when it comes to fitting with Malice Mizer's darker, gothic songs.

Malice Mizer, if you dont know, was a popular japanese symphonic rock group. Mana, the guitarist & main composer graduated from a prestegious all-music school and he is very talented and enigmatic. (he's the one on the cover with a violin & a dress) he never speaks publically, claiming something about the "voice of his guitar" or some such strange Mana-ish nonsense.

Klaha reminds me of a vampire, and he's got great, strong, dark vocals that go well with the darker style of Malice Mizer's music. Beast of Blood is great song. BUY THIS!!!

This is one of the last singles of Malice Mizer. It is a must have for any Malice Mizer fan. Also a hidden track is on this cd as well.

Although, I love the song "Beast of Blood", looking at the track list on Amazon, I stupidly though there were 21 tracks on this CD. There ARE 21 tracks, but 4 through 20 are blank, 3 second tracks. At first I was pissed. Then I heard track 21. The "hidden track". Oh, my God. Imagine the most beautiful woman in the world, and making love to her, in an open field, during a full blown thunderstorm. That's how awesome track 21 is. A little over-priced but I didn't mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mizer, March 20, 2006
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
I didn't really know much about Malice Mizer, but I found the song Beast of Blood on a website a friend sent me and just had to have it. X3
The CD is great. Klaha's voice was perfect for this one, though I especially loved the instrumental version of the song. Sometimes you just wanna hear the music, ya know? :)

5.0 out of 5 stars beast blood, August 10, 2005
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
When I first heard Malice Mizer, it was during the Gackt era, and although I felt that Gackt was on awesome vocalist, what Klaha brings to MM in Beast of Blood was a masterpiece.

I never thought that the band would pick up after Gackt leaving, and then I heard about the passing of Kami (who will be missed, he was a superb drummer and great songwriter) and thought that the end of Malice Mizer would come.

But, then my friend showed me the video to Beast of Blood, and instantly fell in love with Klaha's vocals mixed with Mana's marvelous composing.

Beast of Blood is a song that is catchy on every end, and even now, I constantly watch the video simply for the dark, gothic feel of the song, which is backed up by Klaha, as well as the beautiful way the video was shot.

By the way, Mana is sexy!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars No fear, no sadness., June 30, 2004
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
After Gackt left Malice Mizer to start his solo career, many fans thought the band would be left to rot. This feeling was escalated when Kami, the band's drummer, died from a blood clot in 1999.

But, Mana was able to bring Malice Mizer into a new era with the new vocalist Klaha, who in my opinion, has a voice much more suited to the classical gothic sound of the band.

Beast of Blood is a very hard song, which ends up being very catchy. If you ever have the opportunity to watch the Promotional Video, I reccomend it. You can just feel the emotions being poured into Klaha's vocals.

Baptism of Blood is a nice addition, with very creepy sounding vocals and sound effects, like bats, and other scary sounding things. Not a song to me missed.

This single is one that no JRock fan or gothic rock fan should miss. You should get this even if you are a Gackt fan.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
First off, comparing Malice Mizer to Marilyn Manson is an insult to Malice Mizer. Manson sucks, and that's a compliment for him. If you compare the two, you don't even have the right to view the cover art of a Mizer album.

Now, Japanese Imports are expensive, and twenty is quite a bit to spend on a single, but to be honest, this single is DEFENATLEY worth it. Beast of Blood is my second most listened to song. I LOVE it. To be honest, the instrumental version is still good, but I prefer hearing the vocals, since they are quite magnificent. If you have the money, you should buy this single.

This band is sooo good...if they only made it(or toured) to American before they broke up they would of been huge! Beast of Blood is a really good song. Its only a single but they should of produced more songs...Just that one song "BeastOFBlood" is killer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Malice Mizer at it's best!, November 19, 2001
This review is from: Beast of Blood (Audio CD)
This is Klaha at his top vocally and the rest of the band isn't bad either. Anyone who likes j-goth/rock will absolutely love this jem! I am more and more impressed with this line up of the band the more I hear, hopefully Klaha sticks around for awhile. Kozi, Mana and Yu-Ki are all in top form as always, the musical composition is the best yet.
