Wonderful!,
This review is from: Beast (Paperback)
As autism and related conditions such as Asperger's Syndrome are being diagnosed in our children, parents and teachers can benefit from resources such as Beast. All too often, it seems that these children are relegated to substandard care and educational efforts due to a lack of information on what these kids CAN do! David Donch reveals to us that there is a huge potential in these children that we not only have a moral obligation to expose, but also the joy that will reward us by bringing out that potential. Crafted with well-written prose and a natural storytelling manner, Beast is a novella that parents and teachers of those with this illness will enjoy reading.

This book is good on many levels. It is easy to read, well written, and inspiring. Baseball fans will enjoy of a child overcoming a handicap to play the greatest sport in the world at a high level. Good Christian ethics provide a strong supportive family necessary for the Beast to be successful. Great book. |
