Wake up America!,
By
This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
In this well-researched work, Tabor shows the real agenda of the United Nations and how close it is to subverting national sovereignty in various ways, including the imposition of taxes through internet use. This is one of its attempts to become financially independent, since thus it may circumvent the financial leverage by national governments that can still contain its agenda.
The idea of its founders was for it to become a world government, as the author points out. In his measured and factual analysis, Tabor proves that the stark choice for US citizens is this: choose between your Constitution and the sinister and malignant tumor growing on Turtle Bay. There is simply no way to reform this corrupt organization. Not only does the UN want more of your tax money, it intends to raise an army and become a global government. Of course this government would be dominated by the dictatorial states that currently form the majority of its members. There are strong ties between the UN and a host of parasitical NGOs, especially of the EcoNut variety. The church of environmentalism is one of the heads of the UN hydra. Another grave danger is the International Criminal Court, its alarming powers and the authority it is claiming over member states, especially Western democracies. Everything the UN touches turns to ecxrement, like its complicity in forced abortions in Africa and in the genocide in Darfur. The part it played in the Rwandan genocide is well known by now. It intends to extend its toxic tentacles into the American educational system, to subvert private property rights, control natural resources worldwide and bring about open borders. This whilst the UN bureaucrats who profited from the oil-for-food scandal go unpunished and the institution's gross failures and crimes are ignored by the mass media. The prospect of such an unprincipled, deviant bunch of bureaucrats attaining its goal of global government is truly nightmarish. It is of the utmost importance that the American public and politicians be informed; this book serves to do just that. But do the politicians have the will and the moral fibre to withstand this threat to US sovereinty? Time will tell. Other valuable books that expose various facets of the UN's agenda, its corruption and its failures include Diplomatic Divorce by Thomas Kilgannon, Tower of Babble: How the United Nations Has Fueled Global Chaos by Dore Gold, Inside the Asylumby Jed Babbin, The U.N. Exposed by Eric Shawn and Global Deception by Joseph Klein. Not all of these authors advocate complete US withrawal from the UN but their work provides an illuminating insight into this evil and dangerous organization.

Timely and Insightful,
This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
For anyone wanting to know more about the United Nations, this is a must-read. It details the history of the UN, the reasons for its creation, and how it is causing more harm than good today. The UN's corruption, cumbersome bureaucracy and the anachronistic make-up of the Security Council have all been addressed before. Tabor's book focuses instead on the United Nations' slow but steady erosion of the concept of national sovereignty.
Worse, the absolute moral certainty of the bureaucrats at Turtle Bay have convinced themselves that whatever they're doing must be in the best interest of humanity. Their intentions are ostensibly good--never mind that their approaches to tackling global issues are often remarkably uninformed. Their justification for gathering more power to the UN as an institution is the use of that power to alleviate poverty, improve the environment and forestall international conflict. Unlike most governments, the UN is neither accountable to its members nor reliably informed by experts. This has led to amazingly wrongheaded policies such as conducting forced abortions in sub-Saharan Africa in an effort to reduce the birthrate. The United Nations, still dependent on dues from member states, now strives to make itself as completely unaccountable as the International Criminal Court. The ICC claims jurisdiction over member states whether they are signatories or not--a fact made even more problematic by the fact that the ICC serves as law enforcement and judiciary--hardly unbiased. Meanwhile, the UN is attempting to put a tax in place that will apply to all its members. If this happens, the power of the purse, the last tool of restraint at the disposal of the US and other nations, will be gone. This book is a sobering wake-up call for anyone who is optimistic about the UN's intents or actions.

The Beast on the East River,

This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
Nathan Tabor's "The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security" is the best exploration of the way this utterly corrupt international institution has long been at work to undermine the way Americans think about their nation, securing control over iconic American landmarks, seeking financial independence through global taxation, and to become in every way a global government superceding our Constitution and the independence of nations around the world. Tabor documents how the UN has infiltrated our educational system, extended its control over our landmass with biosphere reserves, and the countless other ways its faceless, unaccountable bureaucracy works to expand its authority. Its failure to stop wars and curb genocides is well known. Its corruption is an open secret. Tabor connects all the dots, demonstrating the true agenda of the UN. For Americans less inclined to accept UN's credibility or value, Tabor's book is essential reading.

Awesome,
This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
With the risk being labeled a "raging right-wing paranoid with the intellect of a 9th grader", I want to publicly say this book is great. Shockingly honest and upfront, Nathan tells it how it is. You can take the facts and make your own opinion. I have found nothing in the book to be false or misleading. It is a very captivating read leaving you wondering what you can do to help keep the US a sovereign nation.
Read it, you won't regret it.

The Beast,
This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
An excellent read and essential for everyone who wants to know the real agenda behind the United Nations. Its agenda is to crush all national sovereignties and become THE world ruling power. Tabor's analysis and supporting data are inescapable.

BEAST ON THE EAST RIVER a must read for every American,
By Bruce W. "Bruce W." (Alamogordo, New Mexico United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
I ordered Nathon Tabor's BEAST ON THE EAST RIVER when I found myself embroiled in a fight to stop World Heritage Site designation of White Sands National Monument in southern New Mexico's Otero County. I didn't know much more about the U.N. than what I read in the news; and most of that was unfavorable. I was uneasy about having the U.N. as a neighbor to White Sands Missile Range and Holloman AFB, as well as to Alamogordo, NM and Otero County, NM. I became involved with other residents opposed to the WHS designation in our county. As I researched the U.N., Tabor's book surfaced. The BEAST ON THE EAST RIVER gave us understanding on how UNESCO works and gave us direction in exposing the diminishing creeping effects of WHS buffer zones and pooling American sovereignty with international law. Many thanks to Nathon Tabor for writing this book. I'll buy him lunch if he ever comes to Alamogordo.

This review is from: The Beast on the East River: The UN Threat to America's Sovereignty and Security (Hardcover)
"Beast on the East River" is a thought-provoking book for anyone who appreciates their constitutional freedoms guaranteed by American national sovereignty. "Beast" examines the progressive steps the UN and its agencies have already taken, which threaten US sovereignty and ultimately the personal freedoms of every American citizen. It describes the rise of an unaccountable World Court capable of nabbing any individual; the largest land grab in the history of man, through the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST); and the gradual shift of power to forces unfriendly to the United States. It is alarming. A must-read for every American citizen.

Plan to Ban All Firearms in the United States
On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States . The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms. The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment. This has happened in other countries, past and present! THIS IS NOT A JOKE NOR A FALSE WARNING. As sure as government health care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control. Read the Article U.S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto. The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better. View The Full Article Here Click on the link below for further acknowledgement..... [...] |
