Wonderfully told story,
By M. Beldock (beldock@trail.com) (Santa Fe, New Mexico) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beast in the Mirror: The Life of Outsider Artist Antonio Ligabue (Hardcover)
This is a wonderfully told poignant story about a man who in spite of a tragic and unfortunate childhood, has left his indelible mark in the world with his talent and imagination. The author has been able to transport you into his mind, live with his thoughts and describe in vivid terms the landscapes and people that surrounded him as if you are there. It is told in a style that is fresh, that transcends continents and makes you want to know and see more of this Italian artist whose work has never been shown in this country

not unlike a good shrink,
By james brandon (los angeles, ca USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beast in the Mirror: The Life of Outsider Artist Antonio Ligabue (Hardcover)
inspirational tale that teaches us to embrace our own uniqueness and never feel the need to "fix" things... ligabue the man falls into the category of "potential fool or potential supertar." he emerges the latter. ligabue the book falls into the category of "biography that should be shelved in the self-help section." chicken soup for the searching soul.-jamie brisick |
