An excellent pc game from the early to mid '90's using dos and windows 95 platform at that time. Works with all platforms including XP and 7. An incredible game using actual actors and video to move the story. A must play.

I still remember back in 1994 when this game first came out and at the time the big trend was live action movie cut scenes either for the whole game or just movie cut scenes during the gameplay, regardless the sequel to the incredible first game was just as entertaining, scary, and addictive as the first Gabriel Knight game was. The second game had Gabriel back in his ancestors ancestral home in Germany trying to bring back the honor and prestige of his families heroic calling which was supernatural hunters who were gifted with powerful unique abilities which Gabriel is slowly reawakening as he continues his families calling. The game had Gabriel pitted against a werewolf that had been attacking people nearby and with his trusted helper Grace tries to stop the werewolf but also faces a threat he may not be ready for. The actors and actresses in the scenes did their part well and while you can tell this is all mostly blue screen cgi effects if you keep an open mind and see past that the game will greatly entertain you both with its storyline and the cast as they play their roles. The one thin you most know also is that the game came in six disk which you had to change at certain areas while you played the storyline but again while somewhat annoying it's also understandable considering the space needed at the time they made the game. Again the game was made in 1994 so don't expect great explosions and cgi effects we get with today's game but for those who remember the golden 90's of PC live action movie games here's a great nostalgic one for you...
