This book teaches you real stuff for winning real money!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Beat the Casino (Paperback)
Most of the books on gambling are crap. Not this one. Most books will fill three quarter of the content to teach you how to play the game but Beat The Casino gets right to the point. I cant say enough good things about this book. It will worth every penny you ever spend and make you more. But do not believe for a second you're gonna score big time. You still can lose but you will win more consistently. Dont let it get to your head. I welcome further discussion on the subject if you email me.

Simply put; if you gamble you must read this book!,

This review is from: Beat the Casino (Paperback)
When I first bought my copy of "BEAT THE CASINO" I thought the title was probably misleading. How wrong I was!" BEAT THE CASINO" was the first of several hundred books and publications I purchased when I decided it was time to either learn how to play without losing or quit playing. At first I didn't quite understand the concept but time and again I would re-read this book and when the light came on it was pure joy! This book not only is for gambling, it is for anything that has to do with numbers in any way. From following the gambling systems to balancing your household budget this is the information you need. Once I learned about the "LAW OF DIMINISHING PROBABILITY" my losing trips were fewer and the winning soon began. My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner! An absolute MUST for anyone participating in games of chance. Frank Barstow is a genius!

Buy it if you can find it . . .,

Barstow was one of the best. His is one of the few gaming strategy books that takes a serious look at betting progressions, regressions, parlays and hedge moves. His common sense approach pre-dates the work of many currently popular craps authors and appears to be the inspiration behind many of the strategies these other writers are known for.

BARLOW ON GAMBLING,
By SHOOTER57 (CANADA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Beat the Casino (Paperback)
I constantly refer to this book when comparing systems and the advice in this book has steered me away from "new" super systems that promise to win you millions and stopped me playing some of the old standbys.
It promises consistent wins and delivers on that promise .It also promises you won't win millions and that in itself makes it a rarity an honest book on and look at gambling. For most it won't appeal to the "gamblers blood"or anyone with a short attention span as the progression/regression series require your full focus and attention and would be to much of a grind for most. Great Book,

I read this several years ago and still refer to it often. Some of the mathematical conclusions may not be totally accurate, but this does not diminish its worth in the least. For anyone interested gambling, or just numbers, it cannot be beat IMO. Many, many ideas on "increasing your odds", interesting anecdotes, and basic info on casino games. Without a doubt, it is worth far more than the 6 bucks!

This book is a must for anyone looking to win at a casino. I have found it to be the most informative guide to casino gambling I have ever read. Barstow's chapter on wagering has greatly improved my casino experiences.

impressive and useful,

I bought 4 books through Amazon on the subject of gambling, and this is by far the most interesting. The strategies are so well explained, the rules, the little advices and tips, it is great. All the others are mainly about maths and probability, but this one is more about money managment techniques and much more useful in a real casino session. I live in Switzerland, not far away from Monaco.... I will be more confident on my next visit ! Jacques.

Although this book has been around for years, I believe that the content is up to date. Offers excellent information on how and why systems work (or not, as is usually the case), betting progression, and a unique insight into bet selection. Don't miss out on the best book on casinos and gaming - it will save you many times the purchase price.
