got on to this album through a friend. just brilliant. I was obsessed with this cd for a month. (this rarely happens) fantastic voice, wicked underground 80's beats-everyone i play it to loves it. the lyrics are fantastic.If you like your funky old underground tunes such as gwen guthrie and evelyn thomas you will just get off on this album!! she has such a funky sonding voice, so much character.A friend djs at funky bars and sharon redd always gets the crowd aroused. buy it now!! best album i have listened to this year.Undergound hits from the 80's- most tracks could be released today as the beats are contemporary and ageless - but much more sophisticated than most [stuff] out now.
