5.0 out of 5 stars Know HA's Roots!, June 27, 2005
By Dustin Kerschener (Yorba Linda, CA) - See all my reviews
Head Automatica is one of the freshest acts in recent memory. In a sea of diluted rock and Gang of Four ripoffs, they give us something to be hopeful about. I highly suggest you check out the albums of Squeeze, the band who wrote "Pulling Mussels." Their songwriting team of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook was one of the best of all time. Daryl Palumbo has stated several times that Squeeze is a huge musical influence to him. It would be a crime if HA fans didn't give Squeeze and other late 70's britpoppers a shot (i.e. Joe Jackson, Rockpile)

1.0 out of 5 stars Um, this is probably the worst song ever written
If not, it's definitely up there. "Beating Heart Baby" is just awful. Hard to believe The Automator had a hand in this ish. Read more
