Culled from Hal Leonard's Beatles catalogue is this book of 24 popular Beatle ballads. These are 'average' transcriptions of the Beatles' music for piano, usually with the melody transcribed for the right hand, and a suitable bass line for the left. Those wishing to play exactly what the Beatles play on record (for piano songs like "Hey Jude") will be disappointed; more thorough transcriptions of that sort are found in the book "The Beatles Complete Scores". Others who want to have more Hal Leonard Beatles sheet music should seek out the corporation's other compilations, such as "The Beatles Best".
