1.0 out of 5 stars Huge disappointment, January 29, 2003

This review is from: Beatles Long & Winding Road-collectors Edition [dvd/5]-nla (DVD)
I have spent the last two nights watching this series on Star TV(it's on for five nights}and I am greatly disappointed. A bunch of old codgers reminiscing about when the Beatles were in their mid teens. A couple of them were in the Quarrymen. One fellow ,their first manager, seems more interested in tooting his own horn rather than getting to more intesting facts about the Beatles. In the first two segments there has been very little footage of the Beatles and I have a feeling the series will continue in this manner, I hope not. I will continue through the next three segments because I am curious but I cannot imagine forking over the cash to buy this box set.
