Unless you do not care about having accurate lyrics. I bought this book to use for a multimedia project and found 2 or 3 of the first 10 songs I looked up to have inaccurate text. Its like they were listening to the songs and trying to write down the lyrics as they went, if they couldn't understand it, just make something up. Not only are there bad lyrics, but the font used and the layout have to be the most boring pages ever for looking at. There are a few pictures scattered around in the book, but nothing that any Beatle fan hasn't already seen. Save your money!

I agree with another dissatisfied customer who advised the publishers to hire a proofreader. Being a musician, I almost got myself into trouble during a live gig in which I followed the lyrics printed in this book. Some stanzas are misplaced, while others are simply missing. Avoid this.

This is a terrific book, one I wish I'd had years ago. As an old, hardcore Beatles fan from the first time I saw them on Ed Sullivan, I think I spent more time memorizing their music than studying my homework (although I kept my grades up); but as I turned the pages of this book, presented chronologically from 1963-1996's Anthology III, all the songs came back to me and I found myself laying out all my albums, at first, and then my CD's, since most of my albums are worn out. All of the songs are there, from "Love Me Do" to "The End" from Abbey Road. At the age of 56, my sister and I finally were able to see Paul McCartney in concert and sing along like we'd wanted to back in 1965 when the Beatles came to San Francisco and our parents took us camping in the California Redwoods (they were no fools). Alas, John and George are no longer with us, but my sister and I are planning to see Ringo the next time he comes around and thus fulfill, in part, a dream we had so many years ago.
Their music is timeless and although I have current artists that I listen to and watch in concert, the Beatles, both as individuals and as a group, changed the world of music forever. This book will end up a neccesity in the home of every Beatles music lover; it will settle arguements, put your mind to rest at 3am (what was that lyric?) and sometimes just give you a little ditty to sing in the shower when there's noone else at home. Enjoy. I certainly did.

Who was the walrus? Who did Capt. Marvel Zap right between the eys? Why don't we do it on the road? Ever ponderd these questions, well buy this book. This is a great piece to add to the Beatlemanics's library. Not all of the albums came with a list of lyracies and this fills in any blanks marvelously. The Author has a very keen ear for the lyrics of the greatest songs, on the greatest albums, recorded by the best band ever. P.S. Look at the Lyrics to "Norweigen Wood" is it not about burning down a house?!?
