Although the release of this book coincided with the "Beatles Anthology," the poor timing does not in any way diminish the significance and high caliber of this book. This is something so worth reading that I can't recommend it highly enough. It is something to savor WITH "The Beatles Anthology," not INSTEAD of it. It is like having steak and champagne; both are excellent, but TOGETHER makes for a very nice package.
It's like the sequel to the "Anthology" book. The Beatles themselves, through 30 years of interviews, tell their story from 1970 to 2001. Even if you're a big fan like me you'll find a lot of information you don't already know. It even includes some very rare and beautiful photos...
All Beatlefans must have this great new book !!!

A nicely reported story of the times. Because of using magazine and newspaper articles for interviews, it seems a little sanitized. You can't help but to like the Fab 4. Read morePublished 10 months ago by Ken Williams
This is a fun book to read for a Beatles fan but be prepared for the fact that it was obviously not even looked at by an editor or even written with a spellchecker. Read morePublished on September 8, 2010 by Amazon Customer
