Beatles arrangments that don't sound like the Beatles,
By
This review is from: The Beatles: The Phillip Keveren Series (Paperback)
The first reviewer wrote that these arrangements "will sound like what a piano player in Nordstrom's plays." Great observation. Listen to [...] for an example. The arrangements are musical but, to my taste, stray too far from the path. They're relaxing but not rocking. Before buying, be sure to search "beatles keveren" in YouTube to hear a few samples for yourself to make sure you're in alignment with Keveren's arrangements.

If you are seeking solo piano arrangements of the Beatles songs that when played will sound like what a piano player in Nordstrom's plays, this is a great book for you. As for myself, I was hoping for something that sounded like the Beatles arrangements and, this doesn't cut it. However, many months later, I'm looking the arrangements more and more and would now give it 4 stars.

I have another Phillip Keveren Beatles piano book, and this one I just purchased is as enjoyable as the first. Not too complicated, but still enough of a challenge that I am still learning, but also very fun to play.
