I JUST GOT MY DVD THE OTHER DAY AND COULD'NT WAIT TO PLAY IT. WELL FOR STARTERS, THE INTERVIEW WITH GEORGE AND RAVI WAS IN 1996 I BELIEVE AND I DONT BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE "LAST INTERVIEW WITH GEORGE HARRISON". ALSO, THE QUESTIONS ARE IN FRENCH SO YOU DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT HE IS ASKING THE BOTH OF THEM..BUT IF YOUR I BIG GEORGE HARRISON FAN, IT DOES'NT MATTER...JUST TO LISTEN TO HIM AND WHAT HE HAS TO SAY IT WORTH IT! IT LAST ABOUT 26 MIN. AND I PERSONALLY FEEL ITS WORTH..JUST BECAUSE I'M A BIG FAN..THEY ALSO GIVE YOU THE HARE KRISHNA CD THAT GEORGE IS ON AND I THINK HELPED PRODUCE.. AND HERE AGAIN, TO LIKE THIS KIND OF MUSIC YOU WOULD HAVE TO ENJOY HARE KRISHNA CHANTS ANS/OR JUST LIKE GEORGE HARRISON..SO OVER ALL..IS IT WORTH IT? YES IF YOUR A FAN AND NO IF YOUR KIND OF A FAN..THEY COULD HAVE THROWN IN SOME EXTRA'S FOR THE COST..BUT NO THIS IS IT..

This is a 30 minute interview with George Harrison and Ravi Shankar in 2003, the interviewer being a Frenchman, the questions not translated into English, so I didn't understand any of the questions, yet it didn't really matter.

George said that he isn't a particularly good musician or songwriter, and that he loves Indian music. He said he could churn out hundreds of trite songs, but the only songs he would be interested in writing would be spiritually valuable songs.

He shared his philosophy that we are eternal souls living in mortal bodies, and while the body changes throughout our lives, the soul does not change. He described life as a play written by God in which we are playing the parts.

It was nice to see George. He is an old friend, for us in the hippie generation. It's nice to see such an intelligent and spiritual man.
