About the Author

Jennifer practised as a commercial lawyer for five years before seeing the light. A passion for travel then led her to establish a publishing company, What Next' Productions. Her first book, Beautiful B&Bs and Small Hotels: Victoria was released in November 1997 and quickly became a best seller. Beautiful B&Bs and Small Hotels: Tasmania was published in November 1998 and went on to win an Australian Tourism Award in 1999. Her third edition was released in November 1999 (a combined Victorian and South Australian edition), her 2001 combined Victorian and Tasmanian edition was a sell out, as was her 2003 edition (a combined Victorian, Tasmanian and South Australian book). In 2004, she released the first NSW edition, Beautiful Accommodation in New South Wales. Her biggest seller to date was Beautiful Accommodation in Victoria and Tasmania (6th edition) which released in November 2005. Her latest guide, Beauitful Accommodation in Victoria and Tasmania (7th edition) was released in December 2007. Jennifer is also a freelance writer for various newspapers and corporate publications. When not travelling, she has found time to be a board game question writer for Cranium, a TV quiz show adjudicator for Who Wants to be a Millionaire and restaurant reviewer for The Age Good Food Guide. She is still not sure what she wants to do when she grows up.
