Editorial Reviews

Entertainment Weekly
Their backbeat is the frantic pounding of a restless heart.

USA Today
As country duos go, the Warrens are more Foster & Lloyd than Brooks & Dunn, which is to say they create clever country songs that sound like pop songs....

5.0 out of 5 stars These guys deserve a listen..., September 25, 1999
By A Customer
I'm stingy with my 5-star ratings but these guys deserve it. I had never heard of them until seeing them open for Faith Hill on one of the coldest, windiest days California has to offer but they gave all they had and really worked the crowd even to the point of inviting everyone to their tour bus for autographs after the show. This was one of those rare CDs that I "liked" the first time, and after a couple of listens I can hardly go a day without putting it on. I'm not going to even single out any songs, I enjoy them all. My only complaint is the CD jacket. The cover photo of "brooding bad boys" and the "perpetual flip book" gimmick make me hide the CD case for fear of teasing from my co-workers. The case makes me feel the CD was aimed at teenage girls, but the contents are worthy of far better.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a GREAT cd!, April 16, 2000
By A Customer
All the songs on this are excellent no matter what mood you're in. Many are fast-paced, and great for singing along to! After my brother saw these guys open for Lynrd Skynrd, he instantly bought the CD. I listened to it once and knew I had to buy it. This is a GREAT cd!
