Sensual...,

Ace Boggess always had a gift for the sensual but before seemed to not drift into that direction as often as I thought he should, but this book is just all senses and in places wicked romantic. My kind of stuff. I really like the letters section. I loved the one about charlotte and the fireflies. That was just beautiful. The entire book is sexy and intellectual which is pretty hard to pull off.

Sensual, smart poetry,
This review is from: The Beautiful Girl Whose Wish Was Not Fulfilled (Paperback)
This book touches the young girl in me with its beautiful, romantic pieces, but it also reaches the philosophy student in poems that touch on meanings and identity. "The Way Camus Wrote Women" is my favorite piece and says something about Camus that I'd never thought about. Also, the letters poems are remarkable. They seem to catch the author's personal life in brief meditations. I'm glad I found this book. It's such a perfect collection. Some other favorites of mine are "Things I Forgot To Love" and "Existential Questions, Answers In Letters To Marged." Great stuff. Like a collaboration between Nietzsche and Neruda.
