Awesome!,

This is sincerely one of a whole series of good albums I have bought this year. The band manages to blend soft, worshipping, praiseful songs with hard rock beats and heavy metal sounds (similar to Skillet, another great artist) into an awesome CD! This is really a CD I can share with my non-Christian friends without worrying about what they'll think of the words and lyrics.

An excellent sequel,

I found this CD to be just as good as my first RRWC purchase, "Welcome to the Rock 'N' Roll Worship Circus." This album has the same pleasing mix of sounds and styles, from upbeat ("Beautiful Glow") to devotional ("Blessed Tune") to awe-inspiring ("Scary Drifter"). The ultra-hard track "New Wave Revolution" is a little bit off the beaten path for this collection (probably way off for most contemporary Christian music fans), but its lyrics still carry an appreciable message. "Great Big Love" even reminds me of the Beatles.I think this album has a little more sophistication than the previous -- exemplified by "Loveliest Bride." All in all, fans of Christian rock won't go wrong with this great CD from a group that broke the Christian music mold.

Very strong follow-up album,

I really liked the first album by this band and was eager to see how the follow-up album would sound. This album does not disappoint. The band brings its rather unique approach to Christian worship to the next level. Once again, the wide variety of songs helps make this album an enjoyable experience. It opens with an impressive upbeat song "A Beautiful Glow" and continues with many other styles such as the slower "Blessed Tune", the Lou Reed sounding "Gift of Cool", to the stripped down sound of "All I Can Do". I must say that their are a few songs that don't quite work for me, but I am impressed that the band is willing to experiment with their sound, and usually pull it off well. The last thing to mention about this album is the lyrics. Simply put, they are more God focused and inspired than the previous album. It is nice to see the band's faith coming through more clearly. I highly recommend this album to anyone who enjoyed their last one. Also, if you are looking for something new from a modern worship band, or think that all Christian music is for whimps, this is a great starting point.
