Lovely book!
This book has something for every decorating taste. The content and photos are excellent. The only downside is that it is paperback, but that's also what makes this book affordable.

Lots of interesting shapes and textures,

This thin paperback is a good value as "beautiful kitchen" books go -- it features a wide variety of styles and lots of interesting shapes, materials and colors. Was happy to see that there were only a few of the ubiquitous white Peacock-wannabe type kitchens -- we're finally getting past that and on to some more interesting and imaginative choices. The ranges included Thermador, LaCornue and others-- not just the usual Viking and Wolf. The hoods ranged from over-the-top custom to off-the-shelf industrial. The were some interesting floors (including two checkerboard kitchens) and backsplashes. Some brief but useful commentary on color and material. Well worth it to see the variety.
