Wow is pretty much the only way to describe this album. Solid from start to finish, Beautiful Midnight is easily the best Matthew Good Band CD and is something you can listen to over and over again (I know I have been). It's got a little bit of everything. From the catchy introduction Giant, to the hard rocking Hello Time Bomb, the deeply moving Strange Days and Suburbia, to the classical finish of Running For Home at the end, this album will not disappoint. If you haven't heard any MGB yet, this is a great beginner.

Beautiful Midnight was definately my favourite Matthew Good Band album, followed closely by the Audio of Being. If you like ANY of Matthew Good's other stuff, you'll LOVE this. Trust me, at the price they're selling this at, it's a steal. Go buy it!

From top to bottom this is one of the finest cd's Ive ever heard.It struck a chord with me and IO cant stop listening to it and Ive had it for 3 years!

this is the greatest matt good album to date. it is very unlikly he can ever top this one.

This is one of the best cd's from one of the best groups out there. I, like some, don't really want to hear curse words, so this is a nice way to listen to some great music without burning your ears. My favorite tracks are 'Strange Days' and 'Apparitions' even though the latter is and older song, from "Underdogs" I'd recommend it to anyone that is looking for meaning in music.

Has anyone ever bought an "edited" version of a CD? I've never ever seen one at a CD store, only here on Amazon. Who would want one anyways? Go buy the regular version of this album, it's awesome. Be sure to get the Canadian import though; the US version leaves out three songs --'I Miss New Wave', 'Let's Get It On' and 'Going All the Way -- and replaces them with three songs from the previous album, 'Underdogs' (available only in Canada). MGB is definately one of the best Canadian bands today, next to The Tea Party.
