This review is from: The City Beautiful Movement (Creating the North American Landscape) (Paperback)
Anyone who has ever wondered why our country is so ugly so often should take a look at 'The City Beautiful Movement.' Wilson shows, without annoying rhetoric, how planners of the 'City Practical' school unfairly put down the people responsible for the elements that even today represent the most human parts of our metropolitan areas.
